Dream and Fulfill

I dream then I fulfill, I’m living by the destined way.

I knew that I wouldn’t be the one to work while they all play.

I made it because of love and all who believed.

Still alive because they threw their stones and the next day I still breathed.

With the success and glory, I remember the wars that made me bleed.

Laugh at the demonic forces I’ve defeated.

I spoke of destiny and with my wrath, everyone knows that I will always mean it.

My undying confidence has spoken again and the warrior further marches through the storm.

Never alone, because love and glory keeps him warm.

The rain won’t rust the armor he’s always worn.

The sword enhances at the strike of lightning and thunder.

Raising it high to the sky for he continues to dream and wonder.

The warrior is forever eager for a battle.

He won’t give in, he’s come too far on this path he’s destined to travel.

And still he shall carry on with power of will. Because he lives and fights by the destined way – dream and fulfill.

For The Destiny

I’m victorious.

Didn’t need to predict it, because when the destiny handed me my sword and armor. It was clear I’ll be victorious.

I won’t stop, I didn’t want to just prove what I already knew.

My journey is like a buffet, always something added to the menu.

This proved more than ever that everyone is destined including me and you.

Why are we apart of this universe? We are all worthy, so tell me about your story. Embrace the glory.

Now let me chant my words that bring me peace and motivation – for the destiny.

For the destiny, for the loved ones who also love me.

For the destiny, closer to the visions I’ve always seen clearly.

For the destiny, fight forever and prove the obvious – we are worthy.

For the destiny, I shall become who I desire to be.

For the destiny, I succeed and carry on as I acknowledge my glory.

For the destiny, life is meant to have a life-long story.

Who would I be if I don’t believe?

I have an all almighty feeling in my soul, who is it I become if that sensation started to leave?

Often my words appear cocky as I speak a big game.

It’s just unapologetic confidence, won’t say sorry for wanting to fulfill my dreams – living a roller coaster of a life as the world learns my name.

I won’t apologize. I refuse to say sorry, for the visions I realize.

Family and friends, they stand with me.

They may not know my destiny like I do, but they believe when I say it’s meant to be.

I’ve won wars I hate recalling. Each time I prove that the opposing demons can bleed.

And they did. Why? Because I believe!

I been to my lowest of lows.

In my head it’s a confrontation that went to blows.

I know I’ll win, that’s how this story goes!

So no one, and absolutely no one tells me I’ll fail. Because this is my destiny!

My prophecy!

My story!

I believe in this life some would refer to as a fantasy, better yet I believe in me.

Just to be clear, I’m going to do glorious things and for that I’ll never be sorry.

Sincerely, me.

Hi everybody, would you look at me?

I am the poet writing about his story.

It appears that mine, like many stories, has different emotions every chapter.

And I know if I just had a bit of hope, just a tad of positivity – I would live in happiness and approach the good times with the sound of my laughter.

The clouds on a stormy day or tears when confusion strikes, leaving me with nothing more to say.

My goodness, Hope, what a wonderful feeling you are. I miss you although you’re never far. I just can’t find you, in my days of blue.

Please come back and forever stay, because you’ve known and you’ve seen who I become when you’re away.

Imperfect, a word to describe myself. Imperfect is my exhausting mental health. Imperfect is the trauma and thoughts I tried to raise where I could never reach like a cookie jar on the highest shelf.

Hope, I wish for you with every desire of my soul for the duration of when I’m awake. Hope, you know it is me that begs for you to save me as my heart aches. Without you, I still fight day and night. And without you, I’m still struggling to heal and I ask myself, “What does it take?”

I’ve lived dreams in reality and slumber. Hope, I’m begging you to help me become who I was, and give me strength to become the person I envisioned that gave me the ambition to wonder.

Hope, souls are in need of your presence in their shallow hearts. And now that you’ve finally arrived, the time for peace and wellness starts.

The poet will always and forever write his story with you, Hope, by his side.

Because now that you are in my presence, you have brought me the grandest present – the happiness of the feeling of being alive.

Why Wait?

The destiny that will be fulfilled is a story, and that story will have sequels.

It is a story because dreams became reality, even if they told you that you couldn’t in the prequels.

Happiness doesn’t only come from compassion.

It comes in all forms, imagine for just a second what joy and happiness will be felt when we pursue our passion.

I’ve had dreams at day and night that I never want to awake from as my slumber leaves my real life awaiting.

But then it hit me. What are you waiting for? When are you waiting for? Who are you waiting for? Myself. WHY ARE YOU WAITING?

What could go wrong? I get knocked down? So what? I’ll brush the worthless specks of dirt off my shoulders with my head held high. I’ve heard doubts before, I will never quit – even if it takes becoming the very best around.

We all have a purpose, but when do we stand up and destroy this imaginary and unbreakable surface?

Work harder and harder because if we don’t know how much time we have in this life, why wait?

I’m tired of waiting, it’s just biting the doubter’s bait. Being destined is an invitation to life’s challenges, I could only ever speak for myself but I’m damn ready to participate.

Personal Mantra

Stop! You can’t change your past that’s the most impossible task.

Find it in yourself to move forward and look for forgiveness all you need to do is ask.

You mean well.

Just because you feel strange and everything feels so different now in the best yet worst ways possible doesn’t make your life a living hell.

Regret. Move on – learn from it and forget.

Vulnerability. It’s okay no one is going to hurt you, you are surrounded by love and understanding – you’re safe physically and mentally.

Don’t hide it, just embrace it.

No one’s perfect, look deep into yourself – do you really think you’re a beast in a colorful outfit?

You need to relax, what do you need to fear?

It’ll be okay, you are normal and you’re human because you have proven that you can indeed bleed and shed the occasional tear.

And that’s okay.

Destiny, destiny, destiny, destiny, destiny.

You can still do it your way, just recite the words you love to say.

Rise above! Rise above! Rise above! Rise above! Rise above!

You can still do it for your family, do it for the world, do it for you, but above all else do it for love.

The demons, the beasts, and the voices within you are here to make you stronger.

Don’t you dare give up! When you grow impatient and ask, “How much longer?”

Just remember all the work- it fuels you, but never shall it satisfy your hunger!

Go ahead and carry on.

Remember these words as you build your kingdom!

Stupid isn’t a big enough word to describe this mistake.

I didn’t like myself at all and I asked the question, “How much more can one take?”

That’s never the right question, the question is, “How do I move on and stop beating myself up over it?”

Because we all have something we wish we could erase forever and make it easier for us to forget.

And we all know that deep down, if we don’t find a way to forgive ourselves then forever we’ll be consumed by the feeling of regret.

The land of the free and the home of the brave.

Yet, many innocent people have been forced to rest too early in their grave.

Freedom of speech.

But no one listens and pulls out the closest weapon in reach.

It’s Independence Day.

What are we celebrating? No change for the better? The continuation of racism? Homophobia? Sexism? Inequality? Are we supposed to celebrate yet another day with nothing changing its way?

This has been going on for too long with the red, white, and blue.

No matter who you are, this world was made for me and you.

Happy Fourth Of July…

And remember that freedom is supposed to given and it’s not something some billionaire’s money can buy.

Don’t Be Rude

Don’t be so rude dude.

I’m just trying to move past you.

Don’t mess with me because right now even I don’t know what I’ll do.

I beg your pardon mad’am.

I talked to your brother, what’s his name again? Isn’t Adam?

Anyways, I told him what I’m about to tell you because lately this saying plays in my head like an anthem.

Don’t be so bleeping rude.

I don’t care if you’re a girl or a dude.

It’s a not so nice thing to do.

I don’t care what you look like.

We all have different stories to tell and when we stand together in unity that would be the most beautiful sight.

I don’t care what’s your sexuality.

Because at the end of the day we all are going through something and it’s important to feel safe and not be judged on their personality.

Unity and equality.

Those are the words that immediately come to mind when one speaks of quantity and quality.

In this case, the more people around the world the better for all of mankind.

Because the world will keep turning but won’t be as beautiful as it could if the equality we need is still difficult for some to find.

I expect facing hatred coming from you, you should expect the same.

But if you judge someone based on who they are without knowing them, you shall feel nothing but constant guilt and shame.

So please sir, don’t be absurd.

Please mad’am, I beg your pardon.

And please dude, don’t be so bleeping rude.
