Moment Of Glory

Sticks and stones may break my bones.

But that doesn’t mean I won’t carry on even if I’m alone.

Your words don’t hurt me.

I promise that I’ll remember them in my moment of glory.

Always trying to put me down.

Saying all these things just so my face can show you my frown.

You forgot one thing – I normally fly high and I usually never fall to the ground.

This is my moment of glory.

And just like my Mom and Dad told me – do what you want because this is your story.

So right now as I continue my journey on this path, I dream that the world will know me – and on that day I’ll experience my moment of glory.
