Into The Sky

I wake up high in the sky, I soar among the birds and never ask why.

Flying higher and higher to different elevations in the atmosphere, I wish one day that you’ll be here.

I’ve always had a fear of heights, but the places you’ll see will make you forget all of your frights.

In the middle of the night still thousands of miles from Mars, I carelessly travel through the countless constellations and the stars.

The stars remind me of who I am and everything in which I take great pride in, I always think of you and the love in the sky no one ever knew.
